I have recently been reading the Tao off and on and really enjoying it.  It is nice to not feel threatened by thought outside of Christian thought, which is exactly how I used to be.  But now, I can read other material and it actually helps and informs the development of my faith.   It is like Truman (in the “Truman Show”) opening the hatch at the end of the movie and seeing how big the world really was.  Returning to faith as it used to be would be like Truman choosing to know the world is bigger but still deciding to return to world in the tank.  What a great journey God has called us into as we learn to live like Christ in this world, and as we learn about that heart of God and Christ in the strangest places.
